Anveshana is a Science and Engineering competition where undergraduate students mentor underprivileged school students to create models based on engineering concepts through hands-on learning and research. Each team includes 2 engineering students and 2 school students, working together on projects addressing social problems. The school students gain exposure to planning, design, and scientific concepts throughout the process.
Since 2011, Agastya International Foundation, in partnership with Synopsys India Ltd., has successfully organized Anveshana in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai. The competition is well-received across several states, including Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.
